Academic Details:

 

Students Intake: 120 students per year (60 Merit & 60 Management)

 

Admission/Eligibility: Any degree recognized by University with 50% passing marks. In-addition ranking in National Level or State Level entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, KMAT, JMET, ATMA, JEE, PGCET (For Govt. quota seats PGCET only and rest all are eligible for Management seats).

 

Curriculum and Degree: The curriculum designed by Karnatak University, Dharwad is followed with 4 semesters and spread over 2 years.

 

Electives /Specializations: Marketing, Finance and Human Resource with a Summer Internship of 8 weeks after the completion of 1st year and 8 weeks of Major Concurrent Project during the 4th semester.

Reservation Policy: Reservation policy is as per the Govt of Karnataka stated policy. Like 50% of seats on merit and remaining 50 % of the seats as per the Govt policy for Govt quota admission. For management quota seats are open on first cum first served basis.

 

Admission Policy: The admission to MBA is on two tier basis. 60 seats are filed through PGCET test and counseling done by the Govt agency KEA. This is called as Govt quota admission. The admission under management quota for 60 seats is done through the KMAT /PGCET/MAT/CMAT qualified students on first cum first served basis. The eligibility is 50% marks in the qualifying degree. (45% for reservation category).

 

Document Retention Policy: The various documents like marks card/certificates are retained in two sets one original and the other set in photocopy form separate file for each student is maintained in which these documents are filed and preserved. The originals are released once the course is completed. However for bank loan and other official requirements the documents are released on request. No originals are retained as beyond the course time schedule.
